This is a truly Bizarro World story out of deep blue Prince George’s County, Md.
Back in December, some 100 families living in the Marylander Condominiums complex were told they would have to leave their homes because the building was deemed “unfit for human habitation.”
Last week, a Maryland judge signed a final eviction notice, which could leave many of these families homeless.
Why?
Turns out that the complex has been besieged for years by a nearby homeless encampment that is “a haven for gangs, drugs, and prostitutes” and has “vaporized property values and caused millions in damage, scaring away the banks needed to finance repair,” the Washington Free Beacon reports.
But, instead of dealing with the vagrants, the county told residents to “have compassion” for them, while city officials insist that they won’t “criminalize the unhoused.”
Then, after some of these “unhoused” wrecked the building’s boiler and cut off the heat supply this winter, the county decided to evict … the residents.
Who would do such a thing? Well, would it surprise you that everyone on the Prince George’s County Council is a Democrat, and the county voted 86% for Kamala Harris in 2024?
This is the kind of warmth-of-collectivism style of government Democrats provide – wherever and whenever they control the levers of power.
The county voted 86% for harris? So, statistically, 86% of the evictees likely vote RAT? And it’s the RATs that are evicting them? Anybody see any irony in that?
That pretty much sums it all up
They group together because normal people make them feel stoopid.
A developer will build low/no income housing on the spot with or without razing the buildings. It will be a public/private endeavor. The developer will get a sweet price on the land, he will get huge tax breaks for his “philanthropy”, then he will kick back into campaign coffers as payback. Maybe cash too, but it is what happens all the time in WA State.
The city would send cops to motels and bust the owner for having drugs and prostitution in the cheap rooms. After the second time, they seized the property, updated the same Motels and move the homeless drug addicts and hookers, and the taxpayers pay instead of the hookers and drug dealers.
It was a slick move by the WA Congressional Majority Leader, he was “so moved by the homeless etc”, they he started a non-profit and of course profited greatly from it.

The builders are clueless of the neighborhood this is going in
This is the kind of warmth-of-collectivism style of government Democrats provide.
The higher up they get in government the greater the losses for the working class all to provide for the layabouts to lazy to work it interferes with their play and rest times.
