“”In 2006, Jeffrey Epstein was arrested and later convicted of soliciting prostitution from a minor, which resulted in a plea deal that led to an 18-month jail sentence. This conviction was part of a controversial agreement that allowed him to avoid federal charges despite serious allegations of sex trafficking involving underage girls.””

The prosecution of Epstein commenced in 2006 by the Palm Beach County district attorney, who was at the time Barry Krischer, who is a Democrat. Palm Beach County is a Democrat stronghold and has been carried by the Democratic candidate for President since 1992. The Feds took over the investigation and gave Epstein the generous plea bargain that amounted to his spending weekdays at the county jail.
