Laz, another technique that works well when responding is with something completely irrelevant, but clever enough to throw them off a step:

TDS Victim: "Trump is a felon! ... and he's a pedophile!!"
Me: "Well, like Groucho once said: 'Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana."

This usually generates a blank stare ... and often they just leave.
