In 2016, they got overconfident because "history" was on Hillary's side. That's like claiming God is on your side, but framed so atheists can play that game too.

In 2020, they pulled out all the stops and got back in power in what amounted to a coup. But by 2024 they got overconfident again.

They have learned the wrong lesson from that.
