The arrangements began in early 2016 at 301 E. 66th Street. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak reportedly stayed there for extended periods. According to the emails, the surveillance operation remained in place for at least two years.

Officials from Israel’s permanent mission to the UN regularly coordinated with Epstein’s staff on security matters. In January 2016, emails with an Epstein aide detailed installing alarms and “surveillance equipment” at the Epstein apartment. The proposed setup included six “sensors sticked to the windows, and the ability to remotely control access to the premises.”

Reports indicate that Barak and Epstein had intersecting financial interests, with Epstein assisting in setting up meetings and business opportunities, such as a potential security deal with Mongolia. What was Gates part in this?
