We have three branches in USA.
In the UK, it's just the Parliament, that's it.

The monarchy exists due to the forbearance of Parliament and that’s been true since the Restoration. Parliament stepped in and erased one king - James II and brought in another William of Orange over religion (James II Catholic & William Protestant).
The UK system is a continuing demonstration of why too much democracy is a bad idea!
