I remember news stories and pictures of her in WW2. Brave and strong woman stayed in London most of the time against alll advice while bombs fell around her. Didn’t want to abandon the public (her subjects) while bombs were causing death and destruction..

She was not queen yet...her father George VI died in 1952.

Of course you’re right. But she was brave an strong and clearly on the side of the common person. Are you old enough to remembrer the day-to-day news then? She gave the people hope. Aand not jst the Brits.
