Better question: Why does the MSM focus on professional politicians rather than the leading possibilities for Democrat candidate for president?
Currently Stephen A Smith, ESPN commentator is in the lead by far among voters. Mark Cuban is probably second. None of the career politicians can beat them in an honest primary.
