I hate high speed intersections like that controlled with stop lights or stop signs. I am always looking for the other vehicle that’s going to blow through the red light or stop sign.
Japanese are notorious for running red lights and speeding . Thank God they don’t drink and drive as well . Police patrols far and few between . They show up only AFTER something happens , in droves !
In all my years of riding motocycles one lesson from my dad stood out - and I am passing it on to my grandkids as they reach driving age:
When you're driving, pay attention to all other drivers as if they are all out to kill you.
