I’m 79. All my life I feared and hated the jury system. Your story increases awareness for others which is good.
I remember a person at work saying: “If I don’t show up they will put me in jail. The guilty criminal may get off on a technicality but the jury selection victims definitely go to jail.”

If the system were fair and random, which it is NOT, then how did one woman at work and my mother get called to THREE different juries over about four years? Other people have never been called in their lives.

I told her to come and get me. I also told her I would call our sheriff and my congressional rep and let them know of her threats against a citizen of NC. She said something to the effect of , ‘I’ll let it slide for now and give you a waiver for now...’

The audacious lies of me still being on the Ga voter role when I had been GONE for ten years and also that I had a valid DL in Ga when that was an outright lie is just mind boggling.

Of course, Ga allowed my husband’s and MIL’s votes to be STOLEN three times with ZERO interest in getting to the bottom of it so....whatever. Let them come for me.
