I’ve also heard that comment. In my case it was regarding a fast, dramatic improvement in many lab scores due to a major dietary change + exercise. What amazes me is that it’s virtually never followed by “and what are you doing?” As a clinician WHY wouldn’t you want to know about something that might benefit your other patients? And not a shred of scientific curiosity.
