Not to mention the world those parents were fighting for in 1979 no longer exists. The entire world has changed a lot since then. Just look at cell phones then versus today. Or computers, the internet, etc.

Car phones were the cell phones of the time. Had to be professionally installed, and they were bulky and clunky. Not only that, but you had to hang homosexuals and adulteresses from cranes, instead of throw them off buildings, because the skyscrapers weren’t even vacant back then.
