Australia's Destanee Aiava has announced her retirement from tennis at the age of 25 and claims she is turning her back on the game's "racist, misogynistic, homophobic and hostile" culture.
Aiava, who has Samoan heritage, will walk away from a sport she has likened to a "toxic boyfriend" at the end of the current season.
She announced her impending exit in an expletive-laden Instagram post in which she revealed she had been targeted by social media trolls.

Looks more suited to play rugby than tennis.
I have an alternate solution for this tennis player: Get off social media and double-down on your commitment to the sport.

My dad always said that frequent use of profanity indicated a severe lack of vocabulary.
He was a 3 war Marine & only once in my entire life did he drop the F bomb around me. I was about 14 and had come home after getting a mandated haircut. My mom had been ragging on him and his patience was long gone. He grabbed my hair, shook my head and in a raised voice said "you call this a effen haircut"? I was stunned. Not about his displeasure on the haircut, but at his language. Many years later we laughed about it.

Given her weight, her body has taken a pounding. I foresee physical troubles in her future. Female bodies are not built for long term physical abuse like professional tennis.

I wonder if the fact that she sucks has anything to do with her bitterness. Never know.
Feminism is a mental issue. It has a lot of overlap with socialism, narcissism and pathology. Its now basically sexist socialism.

Huh? I severely trashed my left arm going into my freshman year of high school (surfing)... I watched any high school athletic aspirations circle the drain... it was baaad...Coach Martin steered me towards tennis and discus both right handed sports fit the bill. The continued PT and full recovery from that accident took until I was going into my 21st year. I would have gone crazy without those two sports available.
Oh and ballroom dancing (elective) and orchestra (double bass). Needless to say I never had a problem getting dates for dances etc... and to top it off I passed the physical for military service at 22. Field archery was another sport that presented itself but my left arm was sufficiently strengthed before I could participate at a competitive level.
I agree. We decided to let females play little boys sports and it turned them into killer beasts.
Its not playing sports that did it.
Its feminism that does it. There are plenty of fine female athletes that are not feminists that don’t think and behave this way. Feminism turns them into these intolerable, unbearable creatures.
