I have a VERY low opinion of New Orleans police.
They are more criminal than most people they bust.
I do suppose a drunk carrying around an alligator
is more dangerous than than say the rapist or
strong arm robber just up the block from
the main establishments on Rue Bourbon .
BTW all my civilian charges were dropped
and my “bad time” in the military forgiven.
I had to suffer through two weeks in the old New Orleans Parish prison because I insulted a New Orleans cop
outside a bar in Rue Bourbon.
