Your ignorance of lunar rover missions is not evidence that they haven't occurred, it's only evidence of your ignorance.

Several robotic rovers have successfully landed on the Moon, starting with the Soviet Union's Lunokhod 1 in 1970. Other notable robotic rovers include China's Yutu (2013) and Yutu-2 (2019), which became the first to operate on the far side of the Moon. The U.S. has also sent rovers, including the MAPP rover in 2025.

These robots have been used to analyze soil, take panoramic images, and map the lunar surface, often targeting the south pole for resources.
