We had a Bacci Club in our neighborhood. On occasion bacci was part of the day. Most the function was to have a great slow paced drinking and cooking club among men of Italian heritage. The club was always supporting charity groups. The rule was "No Recognition" in the support. The club enjoyed its obscurity.
There was always a few thousand gallons of wine in various stages of production in the basement. Sausages and cheeses hung from the ceilings.
