I moved 8 months ago and deployed a high tech doorbell. When you approach it I have the little 1” or so screen display an image of a space suited Dave Bowman.
When you hit the doorbell button it rings the chime inside and alerts my phone. And plays an audio clip for the visitor of Dave saying “Open the pod bay door, HAL.”
It appeals to my inner nerd, I love it, my friends love it. My wife isn’t so sure.
But it *is* timely.
