Sadly, this happens all the time. Gypsy Rose Blanchard, Beverley Allitt, Ellen Rupp-Jones. All famous cases of criminals who had Munchausen by proxy and killed kids in the hospital. Way too many mothers do it. Their kid gets very sick due to the mother poisoning them. Then in the most evil of twists, the mother goes to the hospital to be at the child’s bedside to supposedly comfort the child. But in reality, continues to poison the child. So evil. The poor child does not get a moment’s peace, even in death.
