I know they did, but it was not because of her own individual performance. It was a Team event, not an individual one.
She only placed 3rd, but got a golds\ because the team as a whole won. Mostly because of the superb performances of the Ice Dance couple.
I had to chuckle because she sure had an attitude adjustment when the medals were handed out. She had her hand over her heart for the national anthem and had herself all wrapped in the flag.
Such a tool she is.
They wouldn’t have won had the Russians been allowed to compete.
