I thought this was a Babylon Bee post. I will not be watching the halftime show nor will I be learning Spanish anytime soon. Indeed, companies that run Spanish ads on TV face a one-person boycott. The language in the US is English...deal with it.
I too assumed Babylon Bee. No, it’s not. But this is still fake news. Unless you’re some kind of one-in-a-million savant of foreign languages, it’s simply not possible to gain any functional level of fluency in a language that you don’t know in like a week or two. The military language schools take a minimum of 6 months of daily 6-7 hour classes to teach a langauge. Yes, this country has no shortage of idiots, but I doubt that even a single idiot is doing of months of daily 6-7 hour Spanish classes just to understand Bad Bunny’s halftime show.
