It’s ok if these hotels allow illegal aliens to stay there but not federal law enforcement officers.. Yeah, that makes sense.

A liquor license granted or its refusal can be life or death for a hotel or restaurant. I have seen local news stories of closures along with “their long awaited liquor license did not come through.” Approximately 30% of the revenue comes from liquor in the average restaurant.

I think liquor licenses are still granted or refused based on bribe money to officials.

I am serious.

One case out of many.

Former Prince George’s County Liquor Board Official Sentenced To Five Years In Prison For Conspiracy, Bribery, And Obstruction Of Justice.

Greenbelt, Maryland – United States District Judge Paula Xinis sentenced former Prince George’s County Liquor Board official David Dae Sok Son, age 41, of Bowie, Maryland, to five years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release for conspiracy, bribery, and obstruction of justice, in a scheme involving alcoholic beverage licenses in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The defendant also was ordered to forfeit $86,000.

The sentence was announced by United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Robert K. Hur; Special Agent in Charge Gordon B. Johnson of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Baltimore Field Office;
As described in the plea agreement and other court documents, Son solicited and facilitated bribes from lobbyists and business owners, including co-conspirators Young Jung Paig and Shin Ja Lee. The bribe recipients were elected state officials, including then-County Councilman and Delegate....

It is illegal. Its discrimination and begs for a class action lawsuit.
