Between the White House ballroom currently under construction, and the proposed Arc du Trump currently in the planning stage, Washington DC could look entirely different when President Trump leaves office. The classic elements are genuinely inspiring.

PRESIDENT TRUMP – “This beautiful building will be, when complete, the much-anticipated White House Ballroom — The Greatest of its kind ever built! It is a rendering from the Treasury Building, directly across the street, and replaces the very small, dilapidated, and rebuilt many times, East Wing, with a magnificent New East Wing, consisting of a glorious Ballroom that has been asked for by Presidents for over 150 years. Being an identical height and scale, it is totally in keeping with our historic White House. This is the first rendering shown to the Public. If you notice, the North Wall is a replica of the North Facade of the White House, shown at the right-hand side of the picture. This space will serve our Country well for, hopefully, Centuries into the future! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP“
Who do you think will be the first “guest of honor” at a state dinner using the completed ballroom?
One of the proposals for the Washington DC “Arch”

Since April 1865 the USA had been an empire.
Egypt did Obelisks. The Washington Monument is the biggest.
I think the gold looks ostentatious. I would like the inscription to say “Portal for Democrats to go to France”. Democrats should go join the Jacobins.
Is the arch really a thing? I thought it was a joke.
Have you seen the t-shirt? It has a cartoon of President Trump standing in front of the WH saying “I like the White House like my pants — with a lot of ballroom.”
There is a certain gaudiness that follows Trump.
I really don’t like the ostentatiousness of various European countries, and I don’t think we need to look like Europe or the Middle East, to any level of “glam.”
I love my President but I totally agree with you and I hate gold trim of any kind of any place at any time.....I don’t like Diamonds either.....but I digress. Please tone it down Mr. President.....a lot of us come from families with humble beginnings....thank you
Ah. I was there in 1992. Things change over 30 years.
LOL and on a one-way trip.
It looks like a detail AI would add if you asked it to create a render of an Independence Arch.
That makes 2 of us.
I don’t agree but I am willing to read your reasoning for believing so.
One would like to think so.
Let the Defarges depart.
I think you put it as kindly as possible. More of an arch-nemesis than arch.
Have not seen the t-shirt. Where is it?
I’m glad to see that the building as shown is honoring classic lines. I just hope the interior is not so full of gold, crystal, and mirrors that it looks like Versailles on the Potomac. Are we still a democratic Republic? I think in the future our guests from rich states will no longer be reminded about our amazing humble beginnings.
I agree about the arch. What triumph are we celebrating? Given the current price of foods, we certainly have not MAGAed yet.
250 years of independence is a pretty good triumph.
They’re always bouncing.
To the left and to the right.
“Who do you think will be the first “guest of honor” at a state dinner using the completed ballroom?”
Milei, Orban, Meloni, Netanyahu.

And Macron... since Trump’s proposed style for the architecture is directly copied / (inspired) from France.
Amusing...
Personally, I love the Versailles design. We’re after wowing over every person of power who walks into our White House. Let them be overwhelmed by the richness and beauty of our country, from sea to shining sea. Reflected in some shining mirrors is fine with me.
We’re celebrating the triumph of Trump! We’ve finally elected a fighter and the question is whether he can drag along the cowardly elected officials to stand behind him. But we were big enough that we outvoted every cheating and lying Democrat trying to steal our election for a 2nd time. To me, that’s worth one arch all by itself.
As to the price of food, he’s been in office a year and doing everything by himself with the drag of an administration that he has to fight every step of the way. But the good news keeps coming. You can read all the bad news that’s trying to depress you and stop you from supporting him, but why would you? He’ll get us there but he’s not magic. He’s just Trump, which is pretty close.
Best President Ever.
Now whether we can find someone like him to fight on afterwards is the real question.
