There exists a Federal law against bringing a firearm into any Federal facility including the WH. There is no such law prohibiting bringing a firearm to a protest.

But you weren't arguing federal law, you were arguing second amendment rights.

USA-FRANCE was arguing "gun laws of his state" and whether "right to bear arms now forbidden" but you spoke of second amendment support.

I wasn't sure if referring to "second amendment support" and "some here on this forum who really don’t support" it meant that anyone who supports laws restricting the second amendment in any way (such as with the laws you cited) were people who "really don’t support the 2nd Amendment."

Rand Paul was not there staring in the face of traitors throwing ice bottles at the agents. He also didn’t have to do split second reaction to an event caused by the idiot’s stupid idea to bring a gun to the protest and then get involved. Would Paul have done any better ... I doubt it seriously ... a hypocrite standing on the sidelines.
