When I had an FFL (federal firearms license) there was a large book I received each year with all of the gun laws for each of the 50 states, about 6 inches thick with fine print.
Many gun laws are vague or incomprehensible, and I learned that you definitely have to look up all of the state supreme court rulings on any gun law for every state to know it’s application, and additionally all municipalities with their own restrictions.
