Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia — who was listed at 6-feet tall and 207 pounds on the Commodores’ website for the 2025 season — was measured at 5-9 ⅞ inches and 198 pounds while at Senior Bowl practices on Monday.
Saturday’s Senior Bowl game will showcase the top senior prospects for NFL scouts and coaches as a precursor to the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, which runs Feb. 26-March 1 in Indianapolis.
“My size has been doubted my whole life,” Pavia told reporters Monday. “I feel like the only thing the NFL cares about is can you win, and I view myself as a winner.”

Short QB’s rarely do well in the NFL, unless they can throw a rocket while running and run like a rabbit. They can’t see over their line or the defensive rush. This is my opinion. I wouldn’t draft him if he wore stilts unless he could Run a 4.4 forty on those stilts. That’s just me.
I don’t what it is going to take for fans to tell the NFL to go f themselves. Now they have an america hating fag doing the halftime show in a dress but still you watch it. What would it take?
Nuclear war. People are addicted from having played the game and watching the game. Perfect propaganda tool for insidious people who want to normalize and popularize perverted thinking and behaviour. Where else will they get their future partners? I am certainly not watching any part of the game broadcast.
Several QBs said quarterbacks of any size can only see 60% of the field. And even the tallest QBs are not taller then their line.
Russell Wilson 5’11. Kyler Murray 5’10. Drew Brees 6’0, Fran Tarkenton was 6’0. Noah Fifita (U of Arizona listed as 5’10)...looks shorter to me...let diego try, but I wouldn’t draft him...and not sign him as udfa either ..but it is possible that he could play for a while ..
He’ll probably head to Canuckistan to QB a team in the Great White North.
As did low-pockets dynamo Doug Flutie after his USFL stint with Herschel Walker and the New Jersey Generals.
Musta worn elevator cleats with Vandy.
The guy is a jerk based on his pouty behavior about the Heisman. He is reminding me of Johnnie Manzel..
You probably should spell America with a capital “A” before complaining about others who watch a sport that hates America....
Mike Vick had the same problem
1- college program ht/wt are always off and schools always pad them....
2- Pavia was listed as 5-9 3/4 by scouts coming into the season so this is no surprise to anyone in the scouting community...
3- worse than Pavia being 5097 at the Senior Bowl was Garrett Nussmeier hand measurement of 8 3/4”. Anything under 9 inches for a QB is a major red flag (Kenny Pickett anyone??)
I was at Shrine and Senior Bowl practices and can tell you he acted like a major A-hole....
The average height of an NFL GB is 6’2 4/5. Diego is only 5’10 with his cleats on. Also his character is suspect based on his thug act at the Heisman dinner. He’s a 7th round pick at best.
It has become obvious that NFL games are almost as scripted as WWE matches.
But it also obvious that the fans don’t care.
He wasn’t even that great in college. What makes him think he is good enough for the NFL?
These type of players will never ever again earn as much money as they did in college. Very few of them are good enough for the NFL but they ALL have giant ego’s.
When men say Soap Operas are for women, I just point them to the NFL.
LOL! Well Played.
I suggest in future we just go with ‘Merica! ;)
He is 6’1” (with 3” cleats). It is amazing that I have shrunk 3” since my college football days (and lost 40 lbs.) I actually had a scout visit me from a major program in High School and laughed when he saw me. I will never forget what he said: “Son, based on what your High School Coach said, we figured we could put 30 lbs. on you with a weight program. But you are not big enough to play quarterback at this school. They would kill you in your first practice).
“Do you speak Canadian at all?”
