There’s a guy in Florida on youtube doing a boomin’ business of all the incasive lionfish he and his friends can spear. Those can be filleted and sold to restaurants.

They have Lion Fish cooking contests in the Caribbean. Never had any. But they are everywhere with no local predators to kill them.
Are lion fish just big catfish?
Visited New Orleans a few months ago and ate catfish. Wonderful fish, and my butcher has it here in Spokane. If he has lion fish, should I buy some? Mild flavor like catfish?
