When your body is conditioned to strenuous walks with dogs at 80 degree temps and 75 degree humidity you suddenly can’t get any oxygen out of the air with a wind chill factor of 35 or so and the high humidity. We’ve had some really chilly and windy days recently. I had to stop walking the dogs. They didn’t have a problem with the cold air, I did. Couldn’t catch my breath battling with them in the relative cold. These guys get 45 minute walks every day and weigh almost 200 pounds between the two of them. All muscle, no fat and they were dragging me, and whipping me around. The cold air really revved them up, so I quit taking them out until it warms up again. Maniac dogs in this crazy weather.

It’s -10° in the pocket I’m in, Tampa is still 42° warmer than we are, oh the horror! According to a couple weather apps it looks like it could be another two weeks to hit above the thaw point.
