It has hit 26 degrees today. A nice change from the -40 to -60 (with windchill) that we have been having. I think today was the first day since November that I did the morning farm chores with out a coat.

Now I need it to hang here for a while because I still need to get some more ice fishing in.

I wanted to at least reply to folks that commented to me, since I was able to revive the thread (that has no #1 comment)

Colorado was mentioned, and I’m there now, so I asked Grok @ X to summarize this winter so far and got a decent answer....

Short version: So far, Colorado’s 2025–2026 winter has been unusually warm (record territory) and snow-poor (among the lowest snowpacks on modern record), making it feel more like an extended fall than a true winter in many places.
