Case of the missing Nancy? Yeah, it’s weird all around.
An 84 y/o widow woman, 5’2”, lives by herself in a 3,000 sq-ft house in the AZ desert. Doesn’t apparently drive. Family brought her home in the evening but doesn’t seem to have seen her into the house. Has a mysterious way to get to church but wasn’t missed until she didn’t get there. Church is too far to walk, which she reportedly couldn’t do very well, anyway.
Sheriff said house shows forced entry and there looks to be broken glass outside the front door, along with what looks to be blood drops. Whoever broke in may have cut and bled a little but the sheriff says only Nancy’s DNA has been found. Not believing that.
They don’t want to tell us whether she was wearing evening clothes, bed clothes, or Sunday best but her daughters would know that. And they don’t even want to tell us if we’re looking for a vehicle which might have been in Mexico before the sun came up.
Then they re-started a local ground search, choppers, dogs, and all. So far I tend to believe she has been killed since every thing the sheriff says seems to point toward a body search rather than a survivor? Hope for the best but that’s wot I’m seeing. Note that nobody has asked for “proof of life” evidence from any supposed ‘nappers. And if ransom is/was the issue then it only works if they keep her alive which is problematic for a medicated 84 year old?
