I remember that. And they LOOKED professional — white uniforms, caps, shoes, etc. Now they look like slobs, and their professionalism reflects that. (Or is it a chicken-or-egg kind of thing?)
I spent six months flat on my back in a hospital in the late ‘50s, and the nurses — most of them — were actual angels.
I underwent open heart surgery in summer 1969 at age 14. I vividly recall the night nurses in the cardiac ICU as being very hot. Of course to a budding high school boy just feeling his testosterone most women looked hot. Young teenage boys will rut with pretty much any female who has a pulse. 🤣🤣🤣
