The nurse who was fired for wishing White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt suffer a severe 4th degree tear during childbirth has been stripped of her nursing license in Florida.
The nurse was fired and on Saturday Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier called on the Florida Board of Nursing to yank this woman’s license immediately.
On Wednesday, AG Uthmeier announced that Lexie Lawler is no longer allowed to practice nursing in Florida.
Florida Attorney General Dr. Ladapo suspended Lawler’s nursing license.
“Making statements that wish pain and suffering on anyone, when those statements are directly related to one’s practice, is an ethical red line we should not cross,” Uthmeier said.

A while back I saw a post from a nurse who worked with pregnant women. She said she lies and tells pregnant MAGA women that something is wrong with their babies in the hopes they’ll abort. We’re finding out a lot of nurses are truly monsters.
Usually you can reinstate a license. Do penance, take classes, go to rehab, apologize, accept the course to reinstatement the Board of Nursing gives you.

I think and hope that is only a malicious fantasy. It is the doctor who has to deliver the bad news that something is wrong with the baby, and women don't really talk politics at Ob-Gyn appointments.
While I think this nurse’s license should be suspended, I don’t think a state can do that without due process and a hearing. This may be the beginning of an investigation that leads to a suspension. The state AG just can’t do it.

I am glad that medical ethics are at least being talked about again. And even being enforced in this case.
I was pretty sure that medical ethics was dead as a concept after COVID and the forced inoculations of experimental vaccines.
The entire sex change industry also is a grave violation of medical ethics in my mind and any doctor that practices that vile work should also have their licenses revoked. Any nurse that assist in the mutilations should also lose their license.
She’ll probably just move to a Blue State where she can practice. Another reason for Republicans & conservatives to move, if they’re IN a Blue State.
Being married to a nurse, they have to put up with AND treat people they don’t agree with OR LIKE. That said, it has NEVER been questioned by her to even THINK like THIS woman. Your patient’s care is always paramount to your job.
I think the Florida nurse would have a better chance at that since she just wished harm for Leavitt and her baby. The nut job in Virginia seems 100 times worse since she was actively encouraging activities that could lead to death via social media posts. I think she crossed the line between bad judgement and criminality.
