The real story here is the collapse of the “Conservative” Party. Their fall is exactly what happens when a “conservative” party listens to the media and governs from the “middle” while ignoring or not having solutions for real, growing and festering issues. The Conservatives ignored illegal immigration but then when it became a crisis that they could not ignore, then talked about curbing the flood of illegals coming into the UK but did nothing. They ignored the two-tiered policing that started under them. Keep in mind that the laws that are allowing Labour to jail citizens for making statements on social media were passed with Conservative support and not cut back when Conservatives had the majority. At a certain point, a party’s supporters realize the party is a fraud. That almost happened with the Republicans before Trump. It did happen to the Conservatives under Rishi Sunak. The party of Churchill, Disraeli, Salisbury and Thatcher is about to die.
Well said.
Conservatives became a slightly less red party than Lab.
Not sure Reform has the guts to handle the immigration mess either.
