Hey Freepers in the path of stormagedden 2026....how ya doing?
Power outages? Impacts?
Here in north GA it's just a little chilly as we wait for the storm.
You would think we are going to be without food, water, power, and women for the next six months here in New England.
Yes, 18 inches is a lot of snow. But I would point out that it’s January in New England. While it’s the biggest storm in a couple of years…it really doesn’t break the top 50 storms in my lifetime.
Social Media simply magnifies everything by a factor of 100.
We’re still waiting for 15 minutes for the weather to change and the “huge storm to hit.” ROTFL! So much for the Yeti Express.
N. Central Oklahoma. 13F. 3-4 inches. Lightly still snowing. NO ICE. No problems.
Maybe 2" on the ground but at around 10pm tonight they are calling for a lot more snow to fall and accumulate to 8-10"
I have all my solar generators and batteries charged up.
Starlink and fiber.
3 Diesel heaters and lots of diesel.
From bedroom window, the car is covered over... 
Zero degrees right now, expecting 24” to 30”. If that’s all we get I’ll be fine. Last time they predicted 24” we got 56”.
I’m in Central TX. The only proof I’ve got that a “huge winter storm” is on its way is that all the toilet paper shelves in Walmart and HEB are empty.
Sunny and about 36 degrees in the Seattle area right now. Low 20s tonight, no snow in the forecast.

South-central Indiana. 4:30 PM Eastern on Saturday the 24th. Have had a couple of hours of light snow. Ground and roadways covered. Not snowing at this time. +14 degrees F. Not windy at this time.
Here west of Knoxville, it’s been a dud so far.
Major hype, then nothing. Of course, that could change.
HEre in N Ga, supposedly ground zero for serious ice, the temp is dropping, indicating the ‘wedge’ against the CAD here, is likely setting up. Down 4 degrees in 3 hours.
It’ll be a rough night for many, but we’re good.
The Queen and I are sitting by a nice fire, enjoying a proper and appropriate adult beverage.
Meanwhile, got a pumpkin pie in the oven.
Only got a couple inches, but were promised a 12 inches.
My wife’s most common complaint.
We battened down the hatches at our rural Cornelia property on Thursday. We are riding it out in our house in Lilburn/north metro Atlanta. We grocery shopped yesterday and filled up all of our gas containers for the generator. Put firewood on the back porch and picked up a bottle of Jim Beam double oaked. I think we’re set. 😉

Fellow FR’ers, how was the last week for you with regard to chemtrails?
Here in eastern MA, we’ve seen more than a Flurry (pun intended) of them. Covering the sky all day (over bright blue sky, seen over light hazes, probably at night too).
