They never mention the precious “independent voter” anymore.
Serious polling (not horse racing but in depth off season) shows that almost all registered independents or non-affiliated voters identify as favoring one party or the other.
The “Independent” voter may have existed a few decades ago—but they are dinosaurs at this point.
The independent voter is what’s wrong with this country. They will vote for Republican president and a Democrat Congress.
