Today, doctors are still pushing 'stress related' ulcers when, since 1983, clinical medicine revealed that the organism, Helicobacter pylori, was the culprit.

I remember years ago, when a friend's daughter was suffering from unresponsive ulcer medical treatment, that a suggestion to check the treating physician for Helicobacter was reluctantly tested.

The subsequent prescription resulted in the daughter's remission of ulcers within 2 weeks.

I've had two serious ulcers. It was only after the second one was I given medication for H pylori.

I haven't had a third ulcer (it's been about 20 years since the last one).
