Buc-ee’s is great. Cheapest gas, great BBQ Brisket Sammies, super clean restrooms, and the Buc-ee’s Overbites are to die for. An Overbite is a Hockey Puck sized Resse’s Cup, but they have Dark Chocolate, Chocolate Truffle and a Chocolate PB n Caramel. 700 calories of decadence on the Highway! I won’t mention the wall of Jerkey in all different flavors, or the wall of 40 different fountain drinks, or the 40 flavors of homemade fudge. What’s not to like except the crowds, I just ignore them.
The closest I’ll probably ever get to a Buc-ee’s is the peanut brittle that I had to order online to get. The stores seem to be going up everywhere but near here.
I got BBQ brisket sandwich which seemed to be all the fat trimmings they had laying around. My daughter’s was ok but I won’t take the chance again.
