I thought they go to YouTube in 2029? Not next year?

Anyway, ratings have declined. I wonder if none of the major TV networks wanted the Oscar’s, or didn’t want to pay what the organization wanted for the TV rights?

yeah, 2028 is the last year of telecast ... after that it’s youtube, though probably not that many people will notice ... presumably telecasting is losing too much money to continue with the oscars ...

Is anyone surprised that ratings have declined? Who wants to watch a bunch of Hollywood narcissists give woke speeches while they accept awards for movies that the critics tried to persuade audiences were blockbusters? These same critics, by the way, were not even required to watch the entirety of the movies they were reviewing until recently.
