It wasn’t always!! Chicago (is /Was) a WORLD CLASS CITY! I was born and raised there. Breathe taking and safe and interesting.I ran for Congress in the 5th Congressional district. At 56 yrs old, I left in 2012. Now when I return,I see the decline. I remember the day Chicago was safe. I rode my 10 speed up and down Lake Shore Drive,I remember large family gatherings at Lawreys Prime Rib on the Magnificent Mile. I saw movies at Water Tower place in Downtown Chicago and got out of the movie at 11pm, walked to my car, not a care in the world. NOW?? WELL NOT ANYMORE!!
