We went in 2015. On a Tuesday. Our French friend in charge of the Louvre trip neglected to understand that the Louvre was closed on Tuesdays. Oh well...don’t really have a desire to go back.
We were on a European cruise in 2008 and had one day in Paris. Of course it was a Tuesday, so we found out once we were there that the Louvre was closed. At least we got some very good chocolate at Maison du Chocolat in the underground mall beneath the Louvre.
