My understanding is Obama’s “deportations” were basically releases just on the other side of the border with Mexico.

I’ll take the ‘or not’ option. Denying entry is not the same as a deportation....even if a tail is redefined as a leg.

Obama also allowed millions to just walk in.
I think most of the deportations that Obama did were at the actual border. They had so many coming in or trying to come in they were all in one place. That inflated Obama’s numbers. Now with the border essentially secured, rounding up illegals in the interior is a much harder task and will take longer I am sure.
