Yes the left wants to turn this into an insurrection. That’s why I said in the beginning of this the administration should resist politicizing this and just say it’s under investigation but appears to be self defense and leave it at that. But no they had to get sucked into it. Just foolish.
The problem is that the governors of WA, OR and MN and the mayors of Minneapolis, Portland and Seattle have done overt acts calling for insurrection.
If it is OK for them to do so without consequences then it should be OK for conservative governors and mayors to refuse to enforce and/or actively impede the enforcement of federal laws they do not like.
The administration is “half pregnant” at this point.
Either they need to fully enforce the immigration and insurrection laws or abandon them where there is local resistance.
They need a coherent and public policy. This is more than routine law enforcement at this point.
They include claims of “stolen land” and “get whitey out of here”—basically calls for the genocide of white people.
The double standards of the left are not going to fly.
