His job was to get rid of ‘illegal’ immigrants... Something his legal immigrant wife and many other legal immigrants support. I have no problem with honest hard working and productive immigrants coming to western countries... They are welcome. But if you come illegally to a free and prosperous western country... You’ve already broken the law.
Not only is that not a very good start for your desire to live in the west... It’s an offense that requires your removal back to your country of origin. Then you can apply for immigration to a western country the correct way... Through legal channels. Good luck with that... People who intentionally break the law... Tend to do it more than once.
My legal immigrant Filipina wife is to the right of me, and I’m not “center”! I adopted a son from overseas. Long since became a US citizen. Did 2 tours in the ME - both Iraq and Afghanistan. Has zero use for illegals.
LEGAL immigrants tend to be unsympathetic to “open borders”!
