Its better if it looks good. This is problematic not because I personally have much sympathy but because John Q Public is going to tend to think the shooting was unnecessary and we may be looking at George Floyd 2.0 by tomorrow.
To be fair, when I saw the first video, I grimaced. But the fact is, the reason we are where we’re at today is because we try to do everything with an eye on the expectations of liberals. This was a good shoot, and as such, we have to stand up for these guys. You want to watch these guys stop doing their job? watch what happens when the side they think they are on starts criticizing them because doing right doesn’t look good. Using force isn’t pretty, but he’s not the one that set the events that resulted in that weirdos death in action.
