Fire officials said this was the first use of the Atoka baby box in 25 years.

Atoka is a town of 10,000 so it is not surprising that they have not had an abandoned baby in 25 years.

My chapter of the Knights of Columbus is considering assisting in the purchase of a Safe Haven Baby Box for a local Fire Station.

They are not cheap. But saving the life of a baby has no price.
