She might be the greatest female basketball player, guess those that watch can debate, but she is definetly not the greatest basketball player. In fact, she’s probably not as good as anyone on a roster in the NBA. That’s why she doesn’t get paid as much.

A decent boys high school team would beat the WMNA champs.

“That’s why she doesn’t get paid as much.”

Maybe she should try out for an NBA franchise. If she makes the squad, she will never get past the practice squad and will be beaten to death on every rebound and key area entry she makes.

A major selling part of the men’s game is the contact. She’ll get knocked into the third row every time she plays.

She was 6 feet and 163 pounds when she played. A lot of NBA players eat more than that daily. And they will post her up and she will be a waste defensively until she does the team a favor and finally fouls out. They can use guards to post her up if they want and they will blow her away.

I would bet that every single G League player (the NBA's minor league) is better than she is, and she made more than most of them. If she was paid based on her talent, she would have earned less. If she was paid based on revenue she generated, even less.

The WNBA players are trying to seize on increased revenue created by Caitlin Clark's popularity to negotiate a new deal. That bump in revenue will quickly fade, and the new deal will just accelerate the eventual bankruptcy of the league. Hell, even with the CC revenue bump, the league is still losing money.
