Yes it is. God allows it to survive as a rebuke to His people when His people wander away. Several times in Israel’s history, God allowed evil to punish Israel when it wandered away.
Islam functions the same way in the West. If the West had retained its relationship with God, Islam could not have gained a foothold in the West. However, because the West has forgotten God, it became vulnerable to Islam.
