It totally re-perspectivizes the days where I’ve found 10 or more silver coins in a day detecting. The site where I got 247 in 4 trips, I should go back there ASAP... One half dollar would cover the gas. The guy that graded that out got 14 pounds out of the hole (and there were semi-key dates in what I got).
GPAA (Gold Prospectors Association of America) sends you a bag of trommeled paydirt on subscribing and renewal. I got a 1.8 gram nugget (they throw a big one in at random as bonus/incentive). Thing is currently worth about 3 years subscription LOL. The bag usually has at least a 1/4-1/2 gram.
I doubt 4:1 ever happens. But 12:1 could,gold is so high you would need $500 silver which may or may not happen.
