I got to bed after midnight dreaming of a better world. The critics were all saying that Kash and Bondi are compromised and nothing was getting done. They should be and as you say it is a trap,if Kash and Bondi are compromised one of the first to recognize it would be the boss. Once he knows he either has "a little chat with them" which is likely, or gets rid of them quietly.

My guess, and its only a guess, is that during his first term he had so many problems with personnel that he finally figured out how to deal with that issue. It's how he works.

So those left I give the benefit of a doubt.

Does Bondi and some of the others have baggage? Of course. Does Trump know about it? Likely he does.
