Leftie loosie right tighty works great until you deal with a bolt on a reverse thread.

Whew! Rookie here. Haven’t had one of those yet. Mostly minor electronic and plumbing repairs and trying to figure out which way to wind the Teflon tape when I screw on the repaired hose/aerator/limestone or calcium-crusted shower head or faucet, etc. My plumber and I have more than a passing acquaintance because he does all the tough stuff.
Usually see it on equipment. Things that rotate.
