Add me to the cousins list! I am a direct paternal descendant of Samuel Jordan Ancient Planter who arrived in America from England in the 1600’s. His plantation near Williamsburg, previously called Jordan’s Journey, remains today but name was changed to Jordan’s Point. One of my relatives was the court appointed guardian of Thomas Jefferson after Thomas’s father died. A group of Jordans migrated to Georgia where I was born and to Alabama.
Yep, I’m a Jordan pronounced “Jerdan” like “Shug” Jordan’s namesake Jordan Hare stadium in Auburn AL.
We originated from Scotland, migrated to England, and then America.
No wonder we all get along so well here! Patriotism is in our blood!

I don’t know how to post a pic here!
Hello, Cousin - I don’t who all is on your ping list, but here’s a good book about the people on the Mayflower — both religious Pilgrims (”Saints”) and passengers who weren’t Pilgrims (”Strangers”).
“Saints and Strangers: Being the Lives of the Pilgrim Fathers & Their Families, with Their Friends & Foes,...”

Yay, lots of cousins!
